Internal Quality & Compliance Auditor

OVERVIEW

The Internal Quality Auditor is responsible for conducting quality checks of Electronic Donor Records from organ doors to assess compliance with STA’s policies and procedures, government guidelines and laws.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • Associates degree in health sciences preferred.  Three years of experience in a medical record or quality assurance role required.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records/ procedures required.

  • Knowledge of organ and tissue procurement and/or transplantation preferred.

  • Experience with Q-Pulse and iTransplant preferred.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Must demonstrate effective analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team required.

  • Ability to cope with high levels of stress and able to handle a heavy workload.

  • Excellent communication skills required. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and to represent the organization professionally.

  • Ability to travel in light and commercial aircraft, or drive his/her personal auto in order to meet all job duties and responsibilities. Current Driver’s License required.

  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
