Quality Systems Associate

OVERVIEW

The Quality Systems Associate (QSA) is responsible for maintaining Southwest Transplant Alliance’s Quality Management Software to ensure integrity of documentation through its lifecycle from initiation to archive. The QSA is responsible for system administration of the Quality Management Software, and the advising of best practices as they pertain to the software. The incumbent will ensure systems are consistent with established standards.

Job Requirements:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences, quality studies, or a degree in another field with quality

systems experience preferred or equivalent work experience.

2. Minimum two or more years of document control and variance management experience in

regulated or certified industry is strongly preferred..

3. Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in healthcare.

4. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Visio.

5. Demonstrated use of Q-Pulse is strongly preferred.

6. Exceptional attention to detail.

7. Must demonstrate effective analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills.

8. Excellent communication skills required. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all

levels of personnel.

9. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team required

10. Ability to cope with high levels of stress and able to handle a heavy workload.

11. Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
