Director, People Services

OVERVIEW

The Director of People Services is a strategic People business partner and leader, providing counsel, developing roadmaps, and executing on all people service and culture related initiatives. The role will drive all cultural initiatives, performance management, talent management, employee relations, engagement, retention, and workforce planning. This role will also provide strategic counsel to the STA leadership team on Total Rewards including benefits and compensation, and People systems.

Job Requirements:

1.        Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.

2.        10 - 15 years of HR management experience in hospital environments managing all aspects of HR operations required.

3.        SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification required.

4.        Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law required.

5.        Must have the ability to think strategically and translate data into actionable insights.

6.        Must have the ability to develop positive professional relationships with all leadership and staff.

7.        Demonstrated proficiency with MS office, HRIS and Talent Management systems.

8.        Must demonstrate highly effective analytical, interpersonal, project management, and time management skills.

9.        Excellent oral, written and documentation skills. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and to represent the organization publicly.

10.    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team required.

11.    Ability to cope with high levels of stress and able to manage a heavy workload.

12.    Ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet assigned deadlines.

13.    Ability to travel in light and commercial aircraft or drive his/her personal auto to meet all job duties and responsibilities. Current Driver’s License required.
