Jonathan Hewlett

Director, Systems Intelligence

As the Director of Systems Intelligence at STA, Jonathan supports the activities, goals and objectives of the organization’s operations departments through the management and analysis of critical donor systems data. His focus is to seek solutions in sprawling data sets and convert insights into strategic opportunities. He supports process validation, change, improvement, planning and innovation to existing practices by providing operations departments and organization leadership with timely data analytics through verbal, written analysis and self-accessible reporting tools.

He has a long tenure across departments at STA, including previously managing Hospital Services and in leadership roles in Surgical Services and Tissue Recovery. He uses this experience to implement exceptional cross-functional solutions and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions across the organization.

Jonathan leads the organization – and the OPO industry – in identifying use for artificial intelligence and machine learning, providing the opportunity to use predictive modeling and advanced analytical techniques to enhance outcomes.

He is incoming chair of the AOPO Data Council and a member of a number of other industry organizations.
