Clinical Trainer

OVERVIEW

Responsibility for onboarding and day to day training of clinical staff. Participates in the orientation for new staff; coordinates and/or provides on-going education activities from internal and external sources. Observes clinical staff “on-site” to educate and assess mastery of job skills and core competencies.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

1.     Associates degree in Nursing or biological science or related experience required.  Bachelor's degree preferred.  Licensed as a registered nurse, respiratory therapist, paramedic, or applicable experience and related training preferred. 

2.     CPTC certification preferred and a minimum of 3 years of OPO experience in a clinical role.

3.     Must obtain and maintain BLS and ACLS certification.

4.     Excellent communication skills required.  Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and to represent the organization publicly.

5.     Ability to work both independently and as part of a team required.

6.     Ability to cope with high levels of stress and able to handle a heavy workload.

7.     Ability to travel in light and commercial aircraft or drive his/her personal auto to meet all job duties and responsibilities.  Must possess a valid driver’s license.
