Materials Management Coordinator

OVERVIEW

The Materials Management Coordinator is responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels of recovery supplies, equipment, instruments, and general equipment and facilities maintenance.  Performs all duties and responsibilities in compliance with STA policies and procedures, the standards and regulations as outlined by the FDA, UNOS, CMS, and other appliable federal, state, and local laws.  Complies with STA policies and procedures on confidentiality and corporate compliance.

Collaborates with various departments to manage the efficient flow of all materials and supplies. Prepares an efficient receiving schedule and evaluates the availability of all materials and supplies.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • HS diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the allied health profession preferably in areas of logistics, inventory, purchasing, receiving or central supply processing.

  • Two year’s supply chain experience. Prior healthcare materials management experience preferred.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

  • Proficient in data entry.

  • Excellent customer service skills are essential.

  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and time management

  • Excellent communication skills required. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and to represent the organization professionally.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team required

  • Ability to cope with high levels of stress and able to handle a heavy workload

  • Ability to travel in light and commercial aircraft, or drive his/her personal auto in order to meet all job duties and responsibilities. Current Driver’s License required
