Marketing Communications Associate
OVERVIEW
The Marketing Communications Associate is responsible for supporting all STA Marketing, Communications and Foundation related initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting foundation stewardship activities, executing special events, cross-department support, team reporting and metrics, and the coordination of employee engagement initiatives. This also includes the creation of internal newsletters, cultivating content and supporting the corporate intranet and any additional initiatives that would support STA employees. The associate is also responsible for STA event research, planning and execution. Also responsible for the logistical planning of employee support packages, and distribution of promotional items. Responsible for logistics related to inventory, events, and special employee programs.
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Bachelor’s degree in a related marketing communications field of study.
5 years of experience in marketing communications.
Graphic design experience required to develop marketing materials.
Especially proficient in logistics, planning and execution of special projects. Must be resourceful.
Demonstrates strong attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and time management..
Excellent communication skills required. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and to represent the organization professionally.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team required.
Ability to cope with high levels of stress and able to handle a heavy workload.
Ability to travel in light and commercial aircraft, or drive his/her personal auto in order to meet all job duties and responsibilities. Current Driver’s License required.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite a plus
Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
