Director, Business Partner Development
OVERVIEW
The Director of Business Partner Development develops effective and supportive Transplant Center relationships, analyzes and reports Center organ recovery and transplant data, creates and implements effective strategies to optimize organs for recovery and transplantation, provides education, and ensures compliance with CMS, UNOS and ASTS requirements.
This role will actively foster an organizational culture that is based on collaboration, support, process improvement and constructive feedback; and provide input as needed into organizational policy development. Serves to help protect the obligations and interests of STA
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience required,
Current American Board of Transplant Certified (CPTC, CCTC, CCTN, CTP), preferred.
Nursing Informatics experience, to include statistical methods, preferred.
5 years of leadership experience in a health-related field; previous experience in organ procurement strongly preferred; specifically, thoracic and abdominal organs and/or transplantation strongly preferred.
Ability to cope with high levels of stress and able to handle a heavy workload.
Ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet assigned deadlines.
Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must have the ability to provide clear written and oral instruction related to complex processes, communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, and represent the organization publicly.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team required.
Ability to travel light and commercial aircraft or drive his/her personal auto to meet all job duties and responsibilities. Current driver’s license required.
