RACE DAY QUESTIONS

  • How do I create a team? 

    • During the registration process, you will be prompted to create or join a team, follow the instructions given during registration. For more team captain resources, visit organ.org/teamcaptain

  • Are there Fundraising Prizes?

    • Yes! Fundraising prizes are for team captain or personal fundraisers only. You will receive coupon codes to choose the items of your choice after the race is complete. Registration fees will not count towards prizes. View prize options HERE.

  • What is the fun run?

    • The fun run is designed for our participants who want to join us but don't want to run or walk the full 5K. Participants will still receive a t-shirt. 

  • Are Pets Allowed?

    • Yes! Pets with leashes are allowed on the 5K course.

  • Do I need to register my infant?

    • If your child plans to be in a stroller during the race, they do not need to register but please note only registered participants will receive a t-shirt and BIB.

  • Who receives a chipped BIB?

    • Chipped BIBs are for our in-person 5k participants

  • How do I get my race t-shirt & BIB?

    • In-Person participants can pick up their items at our Dallas Headquarters (8190 Manderville Lane, Dallas, TX 75231) on Thursday, May 1 from 9 AM-5 PM or Friday, May 2 from 10 AM-4 PM.

    • Virtual participants will have their t-shirt mailed to the address they provided at registration. Please note, we cannot guarantee arrival before May 3.

  • Where do I park?

    • We recommend parking on the north side of Klyde Warren Park due to street closures. See Klyde Warren Parking HERE.

  • Where is the course?

    • The 5k race starts and finishes at Klyde Warren Park in Downtown Dallas.

  • Will there be activities after the race?

    • YES! Honor your donor hero, grab a bite, get your face painted, enjoy a snow cone, and more!

  • How will I honor my loved one?

    • Honor your loved one in our Donor Memorial Tent by bringing a framed picture to place on our wall of hope. 

    • Unable to join us in-person? You can still submit a photo HERE by April 28 for your picture to be placed on the wall.

  • Will there be awards?

    • We will have in-person awards for the follow categories:

      • 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Overall - Male

      • 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Overall – Female

      • 1st Place Overall - Youth

  • Is there a weather plan?

    • The event is subject to weather. Your safety is our highest priority. Should the event date, time, and hosting require modification due to weather, there will be no refunds of registration fees. Deferrals will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
