Organ donation is a powerful way to leave a legacy. It saves lives and brings hope to grieving families and those awaiting a lifesaving transplant.

Enter the Southwest Transplant Alliance youth art competition and create an original piece representing what it means to “Leave a Legacy.

Theme: Leave a Legacy

Students will create visual artwork that shows what "Leave a Legacy" looks like for individuals, families, or communities impacted by organ donation. Artwork may represent healing, life, connection, remembrance, generosity, resilience, or new beginnings.

How to Enter:

  1. Complete an application and select an information session to attend

  2. Attend information session to learn about donation, the art competition, and ask questions

  3. Submit your final artwork, artist bio, and artwork description by mail or in person to STA Headquarters

Requirements:

  • Must be a student in 9th-12th grade

  • Artwork must be two-dimensional (2D) or three-dimensional (3D)

  • Artwork must be of a physical medium and fully hand-created by the student

  • Must attend a virtual information session

  • All artwork must be submitted in person or by mail to STA Dallas Headquarters (8190 Manderville Ln, Dallas, TX 75231) by March 27, 2026.

Grand Prize:

  • $250 Visa gift card

  • Art kit and supplies

  • Artwork transformed into an STA gift

  • Art displayed in local gallery

Submission Deadline: March 27, 2026 (Submitted in person or mailed to STA Dallas Headquarters)
