In 2018, Southwest Transplant Alliance brought together two organizations – Taylor’s Gift and The Southwest Transplant Foundation – to launch something new. A foundation created to spread the message that you can Outlive Yourself through organ donation.
The Southwest Transplant Alliance Foundation honors and supports the gift of life through organ donation. The foundation’s mission is to invest in community education, care for organ donor families and transplant recipients, and advance transplant science.
In 2020, the foundation’s funding priorities include the construction of a state-of-the-art building that will revolutionize organ donation and transplantation. The first-of-its-kind facility in Dallas, Texas, will include highly advanced medical equipment, a center for innovation, and a healing space for donor families. At Southwest Transplant Alliance the safety of our families, volunteers, staff, healthcare partners, and communities at large is our top priority. At this time, the Outlive Yourself Awards has been postponed.
We will continue to follow all local, state, and federal recommendations to reduce the spread of the coronavirus and to support our partners in healthcare.
The Outlive Yourself ® Awards celebrate incredible individuals who have made an extraordinary impact in their community and truly embody the ‘Outlive Yourself®’ spirit by giving back to others.
This special evening honors the lives of inspiring individuals and celebrates the future of organ donation and transplantation in North Texas.
Proceeds raised will support our mission to invest in community education, care for organ donor families and transplant recipients, and advance transplant science.
