You have the power to give HOPE.

One of the main reasons people hesitate to register is the belief that it is against their religion.

In fact, nearly all world religions have issued statements in support of organ donation as an act of generosity and love. With your help, we can eliminate this misconception and teach donation across all our faith communities in Texas.

National Donor Sabbath

November 10-12, 2023

National Donor Sabbath (NDS) is an annual three-day observance. This national celebration seeks to include the days of worship for all major religions practiced in the United States. During National Donor Sabbath, we encourage faith leaders and their communities participate in services and programs to educate their communities about the need for donation, the generosity of the gift, and the importance of registering one’s decision to be an organ, eye and tissue donor.

The gifts of organ, eye and tissue donation are needed year-round, so we’ve provided a toolkit of resources for all faith communities, whether it’s for National Donor Sabbath or any other time of year.
