GLENDA DAWSON DONATE LIFE TEXAS REGISTRY
The Donate Life Texas Registry offers Texans an opportunity to officially and legally register to become organ and tissue donors. Your organ donation could save the lives of up to nine people and your tissue donation could enhance the lives of another 50 people. The Texas registry was named for State Representative, Glenda Dawson, a kidney transplant recipient who led the effort to create the registry.
Without organ donors, the ripple effect that impacts family, friends and colleagues wouldn’t even be able to begin. Read more about those who said ‘yes’ to donation.
The renewal of life is often realized through the new chance that organ donation provides to a transplant recipient. View stories of inspiration here.
