Patti Robertson, Director of Education and Development, is responsible for coordinating and facilitating all employee education programs for Southwest Transplant Alliance. She and her team work to enhance and recognize performance that supports employee retention.
Patti joined Southwest Transplant Alliance in 2010 as an educator to develop and implement several employee programs including the Physician Education Program (PEP), E-Learning training programs, the Preceptor program, and the Leadership Residency Program, all of which have positively shaped the culture and direction of the organization.
As a certified world class speaking coach, Patti helps clients master the art of presentation and create powerful messages that audiences will remember. With a focus on strengths based leadership development, Patti empowers others with the tools to build and lead successful teams.
Patti is a national keynote speaker and workshop facilitator who customizes programs to meet the individual needs of the organizations with whom partners.
Prior to joining STA, Patti served as Infection Preventionist at Kindred Hospital in Ft. Worth. Her previous experience includes progressive clinical roles as an ICU/critical care RN, as well as management within a private educational program for high-needs children.
Patti earned a Bachelors of Science in human biology and chemistry from Texas Woman’s University and her Bachelors of Science in nursing from the University of Oklahoma.
She is a member of the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations where she is the founding chair of the education and training council. She is also a member of the National Association of Transplant Professionals, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the Association for Talent Development.
